As you arrive at Fox Creek you are taken on a journey from the moment you turn onto the private driveway. .6 miles up the wooded path through a one-hundred foot railroad tunnel you enter the 35 acre property nestled in a hollow.
The railroad passing by the property was completed by the Shenandoah Valley Railroad and the tunnel on the property is believed to be from 1867. Although, the train does not whistle as it passes by, you can feel it’s power throughout the property. It is a sight to see and very enjoyable.
There are three trails crisscrossing the property that allow you to enjoy the forest and it’s mountain view! There are several creeks that flow when the rains come and snow melts on the property as well. One being right outside the kitchen window that flows to fill the pond out front.
Maps of the trails are provided at the property for your use.
