Beautiful all Year

The 2500 sqft home has natural stone and cedar siding. We installed new heat and AC in the fall. There are separate units in each room with a remote. It has 2 fire places on the first floor to enjoy in the winter months.

Whether you’re looking to retreat in the cooler months or the warmer, Fox Creek Lodge is great.



Entering the Lodge

As you enter the Lodge, you’ll find left is large stone fireplace. To your right is the spacious dining area. Directly in front of you is the stairway to the second floor, and the hallway leading to the kitchen.

 The kitchen has a lot of counter top space and any pots or pans you may need.





Fox Creek Lodge comfortably accommodates 13 people in 4 bedrooms.

It has one queen bed, full bunk beds, twin bunk beds, one full, one twin, and a twin trundle bed. One room has a loft with a beds.

There are 4 bed rooms 2 bath. The hall toilet and shower are in separate rooms for your convenience.

House Rules

  • Outdoor events allowed with owners permission and additional fees will apply.
  • The house needs to be tidied up before leaving, consists of pulling sheets off used beds, loading dishwasher, placing used towels in the washer, pick up trash and sweeping.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire home, the hiking trails on the 35 acres and the soon to be stocked pond.
The fully stocked kitchen allows you to make any dish you wish. There’s a gas grill on a pretty large deck in front of the house.


The Neighborhood

The Rollinghills and Mountain Views make this a must-see town. Skyline Drive is 25 minutes away where the hiking is unlimited. Luray Caverns is 25 minutes away. Massanutten ski resort is 35 minutes away. Shenandoah River boat launch is 3 minutes down the road.
There are hundreds of wineries in the Shenandoah Valley. A few are within a 15 minute drive, others are further.

Getting Around

No public transportation. There are transport companies for tubing, canoeing, kayaking which provide equipment and travel from Boat launch.


Other Things to Note

The home is still being improved on at the moment. There is a second bath in the works as well as the living room floor replacement. A pond is located in front of the home. Three campsites are on the grounds across the pond, each with water and power hook up.

There is a boat ramp to the Shenandoah River about 3 miles down on Grove Hill River Road. There’s another one down stream about 4 miles in the opposite direction.
